Life Inside A Vacuum SUCKS

Energizer- Energi to Go!

frekky:

The Energizer-Energi to Go ipod/iphone charger (pictured below) is fantastic!

Running on 2 AA batteries you simple open the device up and lock the charging station in place. 2 AA batteries will give you 2 full iphone charges. This is really clutch if you travel alot or find yourself somewhere without a wall outlet to charge your iphone. A friend and I managed to snag a 2 pack of these on woot.com last month. Any iphone user who travels with any regularity or uses their phone to excess will find this small device extremely handy!

Weekend Wrapup

Well this has certainly been a weekend packed with good times and even better people. Getting out of work on Friday was especially nice with no traffic in sight, making the 60 mile commute home relatively peaceful and pensive rather than aggravating and hostile. Yes thats right, 60 mile commute.. Ugh.. Its painful just to type those words (I think my car just gave me the finger from the driveway). That is a drive that I don’t want to have to get used to. I’m looking around for places to live, but I really want to find the right place before pulling the trigger because I FUCKING HATE MOVING..

Friday night I was able to connect with some friends I haven’t seen for a long while. We went to Aculpocos in Franklin, MA for some mexican food and cervezas. The food was very good, but the company was better. After dinner it was off to the city to crash at my friends house for the evening… My buddy had just picked up the new iPhone 3Gs earlier that day so we basically chilled out and compared notes on all things iPhone 3G and 3Gs. If you don’t already know me, you’ll come to find that I have a severe weakness for gadgets and blinky things… So as you could imagine, I go apeshit over these fucking things. My friend made a great observation. He said that the iPhone is “This Generations Hitchhikers Guide”. Literally, one device that can provide an ENDLESS stream of information on virtually ANYTHING.. All in the convenient, sleek, sexy little fuckable package…. Oops, sorry I got a little worked up there.

..:::SLEEP:::…

Saturday was a non stop adventure of gluttonous proportions. It started with breakfast at Eagles Deli in Cleveland Circle. Knowing that today was going to be a marathon, it was imperative that the day be started off with as many protein rich breakfast foods as possible. Eggs, ham, sausage, bacon (some of my favorite food groups). Honorable mention go to marble rye and french toast. All is good with the world. Suited up and off to the American Craft Beer Festival. Forgot my wallet. Ok, NOW we are off.

..:::TRAIN:::..

Viva la BEERFEST!!!

..:::WALK:::..

After a flirt with the idea of going to Morton’s for bomb filet, our band of traveling circus monkies arrived at Faneuil Hall and got a table at Wagamama. My first time eating there but I had heard of the place well before it had come to Boston. I hope to be returning soon because my meal was top notch and very very enjoyable.

..:::TRAIN:::..

About time for desert eh? Went to Chill and got this for 4 dollars and change… Strawberry/Banana Frozen Yogurt twist, with fresh strawberries banana slices and chocolate chips. Thats all, the dessert speaks for itself.

..:::CAR:::..

Off to rescue one of my friends from the hospital…. Long story short: remember kids, when your welding shit together, where your welders mask no matter how difficult it may be to tack weld with it on. My friend essentially got a severe sun burn on his eyeballs, leaving him in excrutiating pain, unable to see, and generally FUCKED UP. I fed him his pain meds like a good friend, and made sure he didn’t walk into any walls while he was blind. We had some fun the next morning when his pain scale had dropped to about a 4-5…

[See the previous post’s picture for a picture].

The rest of the day was spent cleaning up and organizing my life for the week ahead. Till next time…. Peace

I gave my friend new eyes after his freak welding accident left him blinded for a few days. All credit for the excellent coloring job Laura, I couldn’t have done it without you :-)
